Elena Cravero

PhD Student

Cravero Elena graduated in biological sciences in 2020 from Milan Bicocca University. During her master’s studies in Behavioral Biology at the University of Florence, she did her internship and thesis work at the Department of Affective Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology at Leiden University (Netherlands); graduating in 2022, with  Dr. Giuseppe De Vito as internal supervisor.

Currently, she is a PhD student, with Dr. Francesco Saverio Pavone as supervisor, in the Doctoral School in Atomic and Molecular Photonics at the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS) of University of Florence, in the Neurophotonics Group of Prof. Francesco Saverio Pavone.

The objective of her thesis is to measure the physiological signals involved in stress and to analyze the physiological well-being of participants in different contexts. The project will be conducted through virtual reality technology that will allow us to immerse the participant in two contexts: rural and urban; and to analyze how social interactions are affected by the state of mental health and the context in which we find ourselves.
