Irene Costantini

Irene Costantini holds a tenure-track position in the Department of Biology at the University of Florence, and she is affiliated to the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy. Her research focuses on developing and applying novel technologies to understand large-scale complex biological systems. I optimized different methods, for tissue preparation, imaging, and automatic data analysis, that enable the identification and interrogation of multiscale systems with micrometer resolution. I’m applying these technologies to study the function and dysfunction of various organs in animal models and human clinical samples.
