Pietro Ricci

Researcher

Pietro Ricci is a researcher with a background in neuroscience and advanced optical microscopy. During his PhD, he worked as a microscopist, focusing on the development of light-sheet–based microscopes and the design of AOD-based photostimulation systems for whole-brain activity control in zebrafish. He later worked in Barcelona on the implementation of acousto-optic and photoacoustic technologies for advanced imaging systems. He is currently based in Florence, where he is involved in the development of a hyperspectral imaging system enabling rapid, multi-wavelength acquisitions.
