Enrico Baria
Researcher
Enrico Baria studied physics at the University of Florence. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in physics in 2011 at the University of Florence, with a thesis titled “Classification of human melanocytic lesions using Raman spectroscopy”. In 2014, he received his master degree in Physics at the University of Florence, with a thesis titled “Development of a non-linear multimodal microscopic platform and its application to the study of arterial tissues”.
In 2018, he defended his PhD thesis titled “Multimodal imaging for tissue diagnostics by combined two-photon and Raman microscopy ” at the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy in Florence. He currently is a postdoctoral researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Physics and Astrophysics of the University of Florence. His research activities focus on biomedical optics and, specifically, multimodal multiphoton imaging and multimodal optical spectroscopy for tissue diagnostics.
