Caterina Dallari

Caterina Dallari was born in Italy, in 1994. She received the B.S. degree in chemical science from the University of Florence in 2016, the M.S. degree in physical chemistry in 2018. She has finished the three-year PhD program in Atomic and Molecular Photonics at the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS), in Florence under the supervision of Prof. Pavone. In 2021, she spent four months with the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, in Jena as visiting PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Popp and Dr. Cialla-May. Her research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of optical plasmonic substrates for wide fields of applications mainly including biomedical and diagnostic fields. In January 2023 she received the Ocean Insight Young Investigator Award at SPIE Bios Conference in San Francisco in Colloidal Nanoparticles for Biomedical Applications topic.
