RAI dedicated science news broadcast, TGR Leonardo, has recently featured the Neuroasthetics Lab, currently operational at Museo Galileo, during its 20/1/2026 Episode. The segment features an interview with Alessandro Scaglione, researcher in the neurophotonics group of dr. Francesco Pavone at LENS.

The Neuroasthetics Lab initiative, part of the Tuscany Health Ecosystem (THE) project and funded by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), has been officially opened on the 7th of March 2025. It aims to better understand how humans perceive art through non-invasive wearable sensors, and how cultural experience can positively impact our well-being. The Lab is actively looking for participants to perform sensor readings.
