Alessia Mazzucato

Alessia Mazzucato holds an MSc degree in Physics and is a PhD student in Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics at the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS), in the research group of Prof. Pavone. Her research focuses on the development of optical methods to study brain activity in freely moving mice, with a focus on miniaturized optical imaging systems. She also works on the design of optical biosensors for the detection of analytes in biological fluids. Her activity involves optical system development, in vivo experiments with behaving animals, and quantitative analysis of imaging and biosensing data.
