Anna Maria Monciatti

PhD Student

Anna Maria Monciatti is a PhD student in Art, Technology and Perception and a licensed psychologist with a humanistic orientation. She holds a joint double degree in Psychology from University of Seville and University of Florence. Her current research focuses on sensory substitution, multisensory perception, and immersive artistic experiences integrated with biosignal analysis. She also collaborates on testing non-invasive optical methods to identify skin biomarkers associated with psychological stress. She has previously worked on tactile and olfactory perception using fNIRS technology.
