Emilia Conti
Researcher
Emilia Conti is a researcher in the neuroscience field, focusing on structural and functional brain plasticity in animal models. She holds a PhD in Atomic and Molecular Photonics from the University of Florence. Currently, she is a Researcher at the National Institute of Optics (CNR). Her work employs advanced optical imaging techniques, including in vivo two-photon and wide-field calcium imaging, to investigate synaptic remodeling, functional connectivity, and vascular dynamics in healthy and pathological conditions (cerebral ischemia). During her academic training, she developed innovative rehabilitation strategies and designed a novel large-vessel model of occlusion and recanalization closely mimicking clinical conditions.
