StrEngthEning the ItaLIan InFrastructure of Euro-bioimaging
Objectives
SEE-LIFE is embedded within the Euro-bioimaging infrastructure, focusing on state-of-the-art imaging technologies – including medical modalities such as magnetic resonance imaging – and microscopy. Its objectives include enhancing the technological portfolio, integrating the biological component with the medical one, offering interdisciplinary training pathways, and networking with other infrastructures, which should increasingly coordinate amongst themselves.
Outcomes
“The ultimate goal will be the development of a new type of label-free imaging for pathology in Florence without the use of markers, the availability of new types of wearable photonic biosensors to determine the psycho-physical state of individuals, and new large-scale imaging methodologies with very rapid response times” explains Francesco Saverio Pavone.
